games people play

My newest favorite Saturday tradition is going to the pool!  Saturday is (usually) the one day each week with no obligations whatsoever, and the pool seems to be the perfect place to spend it. About an hour into our visit today a group of 8-10 foreigners came in the gate so we started playing the "guess where they are from" game.  The conversation went something like this:
Friend: "Maybe they are Americans, staff from the Embassy."
Me: "Maybe, but they look pretty young."
Friend: "Actually they are all really pale and blond.  Maybe they are Scandinavian."
(Pause, go back to reading my book.  Then look up and notice a guy in swim trunks and shirt.)
Me: "He looks more like he could be American."
Friend: "Yeah, his swim suit is long enough."
(Read knee-length, instead of mid-thigh which seems to be the norm for guys from every other area of the world.)
Me: "BUT, he is wearing a man-bag; must be European."
(man-bag= bag carried by a man, to carry stuff around.  Not to be confused with a purse.)
Five minutes later, the guy comes over and introduces himself…
He is Swedish.
Game over.  :)

… Last night a group of us got together and ended up playing Scattergories and here is my favorite moment from that game.
Question: What's the name of a bird that starts with the letter "A"?
Answer: Aardvark
Hahahaha!
I love games!
